My story

Running the Lewa Safari Marathon on June 27, 2026 feels incredibly meaningful to me. What started as a personal challenge has turned into something much bigger—an opportunity to support Tusk and the work they’re doing across Africa.

I chose Tusk because their impact is real and tangible. They partner with over 75 conservation projects across 26 countries, protecting more than 50 million hectares of land and supporting both wildlife and the communities that depend on these ecosystems. Knowing that over 40 threatened species and more than 10 million people benefit from this work made it an easy decision to get involved.

This race is about pushing myself, but it’s also about contributing to something that truly matters. Every donation, no matter the size, plays a part in protecting wildlife and creating a more sustainable future for communities across Africa—and that’s what keeps me motivated every step of the way.
